ARTIST STATEMENT

 

My research starts behind the closed doors of personal therapy. As I address personal concerns with my psychologist, I extend them to societal issues, which I continue to explore beyond my individual experiences. Currently, my focus is on topics such as personal boundaries, femininity, violence, navigating difficult emotional states, forced migration, and physicality.

 

I aim to draw attention to "uncomfortable" topics and emphasize that, although we cannot change the past, we can learn not to let traumatic events destroy our future.

BIOGRAPHY​

Born in 1988 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, currently located in Warsaw, Poland. She graduated from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the foreign languages department. 

 

Tetiana is studying at online courses from such institutions like MoMA, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and The National Gallery in London.

She studies art taking personal classes from such artists: Taras Haida, Anna-Kristina Zinchenko, Michał Szumiński.

​

In 2023, her team won in the art-hackathon organized by ART NAVIGATOR ACADEMY. As a result, there was an exhibition in Kyiv, “BOUNDARIES”, which became a starting point of her art career.

Since 2024, she is resident of Cutout Collage Art Project.
